Upfront Carbon Modelling on Speckel

"Upfront carbon" or "embodied carbon" refers to the greenhouse gas emissions that are generated during the manufacturing, transportation, and construction of building materials, as well as during the construction process itself. It's called "Upfront" or "embodied" because these emissions are produced before the building is used. They are "Upfront" or "embodied" in the building itself.

Need a Project already modelled to get going? No problems. Drop us a line (support@speckel.io), and we will copy an Upfront Carbon Project into your account.

Our Upfront Carbon approach is unique, where we utilise workflows for walls, roofs, floors and glazing systems to automate the stated carbon content. A typical wall, roof, floor and glazing system is modelled in less than 10 minutes, including simulations and results.
