Glazed Doors

A glazed door is a part of the building envelope that is typically considered a type of window, as it allows light to penetrate and can significantly influence both heat loss and heat gain.

Specify a Glazed Door

Glazed Doors (hinged, bi-fold, sliding, etc.) can be added to any aspect to be considered in energy or daylight modelling. For compliance purposes, a glazed door is deemed as a window.

Add Glazed Doors by selecting the aspect and then select ‘Select Glazed Door’ on the Envelope tab. Specify the Glazed Door System U-value, System SHGC and VLT and then navigate to the 'Door Placement' tab. Next, set the dimensions of the Glazed Door, drag it into position and hit 'Save and Close'.
