This workflow outlines how to bring simplified geometry from SketchUp/DesignPH into Speckel for building performance analysis.
Starting with a DesignPH model, internal zones and shading elements are defined using SketchUp and the . Zones are extruded and windows are manually created to reflect sill and head heights.
The model is then exported as a GBXML file and imported into Speckel Designer Mode, where zones are identified and labeled.
This setup enables detailed multi-zone simulation, supporting tasks like daylight analysis or energy performance modeling.
