Define A Zones Purpose

A Purpose is a specific term to determine the use of a Zone or space. The principal application of determining a Purpose is for daylight modelling.

Add a Purpose by selecting the Zone and navigating to the 'Profile Settings' button. Next, navigate to 'Purpose', select 'Assign Purpose', and then a 'Zone Purpose' from the dropdown menu. Click 'Update'. Multiple Purposes are available to be set when undertaking daylight modelling. For example. You may choose the Purpose of living space as 'Day' and bedroom spaces as 'Night'.
