Edit Grid Settings

Grid setting refers to a parameter that determines the spatial resolution or granularity of the simulation grid used for computational calculations. It defines the size and spacing of the grid cells or zones within the building model.

Set the grid size of your Drawing in the lower ribbon. Open the dropdown menu to select the appropriate grid size, which is defaulted to 0.10 m but can be reduced to 0.50 or 0.01 m (advanced) for detailed models. We recommend you leave snapping on for Zones and Layers, but you can turn them off as required by toggling their respective icons. Setting a 0.01 m (advanced) grid will significantly increase the time required to model. It should only be selected if this level of detail is required.
