Update a Building Class

Within a Space, an individual Building Class can be applied to be assumed in any Zone in which the Space is applied. A Building Class is typically stipulated by a Building Code and provides a set of assumptions within the model for Schedules and minimum energy efficiency or thermal performance requirements.

To update a Building Class, navigate to any Space and locate the 'Building Class' tab. Note the Space Default Building Class cannot be amended. Then select the available Building Class for the Building Code or Rating Tool you are designing with, update as required, then click 'Save'.
